Ice to launch ammonia futures contract
The Ice exchange is preparing to launch a new ammonia futures contract on 16 January.
The contract will begin trading and be cleared through Ice Futures Europe under the name Ammonia Outright — Argus Ammonia Northwest Europe CFR Future. The block trade minimum threshold will be five lots. One lot is the equivalent of 100t.
The derivative settles against a calendar month average of the daily Argus ammonia northwest Europe cfr duty free/paid price.
