TotalEnergies' 219,000 b/d Donges refinery in northwest France has experienced a technical problem in recent days and a diesel desulphurisation unit has been shut down, according to traders.
They expect the unit to restart in the coming days. TotalEnergies did not respond to a request for comment.
Traders in Europe have said this month that high temperatures have been disrupting refining processes and leading to marginally reduced crude distillation throughput.
