The UK has removed sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from the scope of its investigation into China-origin biodiesel and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO).
The Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) began its anti-dumping investigation on 5 June, and proposed excluding SAF on 14 August.
Interested parties had seven days to respond to the proposal.
The scope is now "Fatty-acid mono-alkylesters or paraffinic gasoils obtained from synthesis or hydrotreatment of non-fossil origin in pure form or as included in a blend, excluding sustainable aviation fuel, in pure form or as included in a blend."
The TRA first asked interested parties for feedback about SAF's inclusion in the investigation in June.
SAF was also excluded from the EU's provisional anti-dumping duties levied on biodiesel and HVO, which came into effect on 16 August.
