KSCL received two offers at $859.90/t cip and $865.50/t cip in its tender to buy 30,000t of DAP, which closed on 20 May.
Aditya Birla offered lowest. Sun International gave the other offer.
KSCL wants the product to be delivered to its warehouses within 107 days from opening the letter of credit in the following split:
- 11,500t to Birgunj
- 8,500t to Biratnagar
- 10,000t to Bhairahawa
The prices are slightly up compared with offers ranging $855-858/t cip to fellow importer STCL's 11 April tender to buy 32,500t of DAP.
