LNG exports from Western Australia's Port Dampier rebounded in June after hitting a 14-year low in May, Pilbara Ports Authority (PPA) data show.
- Port Dampier shipped 1.28mn t of LNG in June, up 15pc on the month, but down 15pc on the year. This follows a reduction in LNG production announced by Woodside for the April-June quarter.
- Woodside has also permanently retired its 2.5mn t/yr train 2 due to declining feedstock.
- For the July 2024-June 2025 fiscal year, LNG exports from the port fell by 8pc year on year to 17.1mn t, the data show.
