Adds additional detail from Enterprise.

Enterprise Products Partners is considering a 24-inch, 450,000 b/d Midland-to-Houston, Texas, pipeline that would carry condensate, as well as using its 400,000 b/d Seaway line from Cushing, Oklahoma, to move the ultralight oil to export docks.

The company is aiming to move Permian basin condensate output to the Texas Gulf coast, where it can export processed condensate, said William Ordemann, Enterprise group vice president today at the Argus Condensate and Naphtha Markets conference in Houston.

"If we get enough interest, and we've got quite a bit of interest, there's no reason we couldn't upsize that" 24-inch pipe, Ordemann said.

Enterprise is weighing a crude and condensate pipeline from Midland to Sealy, Texas, that would tie into additional Texas Gulf coast docks. It is considering whether to build a distillation tower in the field or in the Houston area.

Processed and leased condensate could also move from the Permian basin, Oklahoma and Niobrara area to Cushing by pipe and truck, and down to Houston via the Seaway pipeline, Ordemann said. The company also has an Eagle Ford pipeline system that is undergoing expansion.

Enterprise is one of two companies that has won confirmation from the Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) for exporting condensate that has been run through a distillation tower.

The company is optimistic that it will announce the Midland to Sealy pipeline shortly, Ordemann said.
