Houston PDH down for maintenance (update 1)

Adds duration of the outage in second sentence.

Flint Hills Resources began a scheduled shutdown of its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant on the Houston Ship Channel yesterday, according to a message posted on a community hotline.

Maintenance should last five days at the 1.4bn lb/yr (658,000 t/yr) plant, according to a person familiar with the unit.

Spot polymer grade propylene for December delivery last traded at 61.625¢/lb on 3 December.
