Namhae issues 2019 tender to buy urea

South Korean fertilizer producer Namhae Chemical (NCC) has issued a tender to buy its annual requirement of granular and prilled urea in 2019.

The buyer aims to purchase 200,000t of granular and 30,000-50,000t of prilled urea through the tender that closes on 29 October and requests offers for delivery through 2019.

China and Qatar's Muntajat have traditionally been the main urea suppliers to South Korea. South Korean buyers imported 411,000t of urea during January- September this year, of which 132,000t came from China and 110,000t from Qatar.
