Belarus’ BNK offers Naftan base oils

Belarusian state-owned BNK is offering through a tender up to 35,000t of Group I base oils from Naftan's 240,000 t/yr base oils unit at the Novopolotsk refinery for delivery in the first five months of 2019.

The company is offering up to 7,000 t/month of Group I supplies. The volume includes 4,000t of SN 150, 2,000t of SN 500 and 1,000t of SN 1200/850/650.

BNK handles all products sales from Belarus' 323,000 b/d Mozyr and 240,000 b/d Novopolotsk refineries.

The base oil supplies are being offered on a formula-price basis linked to Argus fob Baltic prices, either on a fob Baltic or cpt Belarus border basis.

The tender closes on 18 December, with the results likely to be announced in late December.

BNK has been selling these supplies every month this year on a fixed-price basis in the spot market. The light-grade supplies especially have attracted strong buying interest from Baltic trading firms.
