The Opec+ group will meet with other oil producing countries via video conference on 6 April to discuss rebalancing oil markets.

It remains unclear which producers outside the Opec+ alliance will join next week's meeting, delegates told Argus.

Yesterday Saudi Arabia called for an emergency meeting of Opec+ and "other countries" to try to reach "a fair solution" to stabilise oil markets.

Last month the Opec+ group failed to agree a deal to deepen production cuts in response to the drop in demand from coronavirus lockdowns, causing oil prices to plummet.
