US Steel raised its seamless standard and line pipe prices by $100/short ton on 6 December. It did not publish a minimum price level.
It is US Steel's second increase by in as many months after it raised its seamless oil country tubular goods (OCTG) prices by $150/st on 18 October.
The Argus OCTG all items index has risen by $95/st since August to $1,858/st in November, while the line pipe index has increased by $7/st in the same time period to $2,274/st.
