David is the Global Supply Chain & Technology Director for Q8Oils. David has over 27 years experience in the lubricants industry, the last 23 years with Q8Oils. Starting as a Chemist, David quickly left the laboratory behind to look after the sales and growth of the USA business for Q8Oils prior to the set-up of KP America, after which David moved roles to manage the UK Operations and Technical teams. In 2008, David moved to Belgium where the Q8Oils head office is located, to manage the build of a $100M lubricants blending facility, which is still believed to be the most modern plant in Europe. David then took on the challenges of Global Supply & Technology where he has spent the last 8yrs.
Dr Paul Kerwin CChem FRSC is Base Oils Director for Multisol the lubricants business unit of Brenntag SE, the world’s largest chemical and lubricant materials distributor. Key partners include Chevron, Novvi, Chevron Phillips, Peter Greven GmbH, Infineum and Evonik. Paul has a PhD in catalysis in collaboration with BASF and worked as a research scientist with Ciba (now BASF) before moving into European sales in the lubricant additives division. He has worked as European business manager with Lubrizol automotive and Sales Director for SK Europe before joining Brenntag SE. Paul has over 30 years experience in the oil and chemical industry.
Mario joined AVISTA OIL in 2014 and has since shaped circular value creation throughout the AVISTA OIL Group globally. He started in strategic project management, assisted in M&A activities and held positions on the group’s joint venture supervisory boards. He took responsibility for risk and compliance management and initiated the corporate governance framework. He has also supervised the company's marketing and communications activities and has headed its sustainability agenda since 2019.
Annika Girod is the Marketing Director at Nynas AB, a role she has held since 2024. Prior to joining Nynas, she spent 13 years as Marketing Manager at Michelin Tyres. Annika holds a Master of Science from the Stockholm School of Economics and is based in Sweden.
Alex is a Regional Marketing Manager at Lubrizol Ltd., with a focus on Heavy Duty Engine Oil Additive solutions in the European market space. Alex has more than 15 years' experience within the engine lubricants industry, starting his career at Infineum in 2009. Alex has held roles across Technology Deployment and Product Management. Alex holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Manchester Metropolitan University, and an MBA from the University of Derby.
