David Wright
Global Supply Chain and Technology Developer, Q8 Oils, Kuwait Petroleum

David is the Global Supply Chain & Technology Director for Q8Oils. David has over 27 years experience in the lubricants industry, the last 23 years with Q8Oils. Starting as a Chemist, David quickly left the laboratory behind to look after the sales and growth of the USA business for Q8Oils prior to the set-up of KP America, after which David moved roles to manage the UK Operations and Technical teams. In 2008, David moved to Belgium where the Q8Oils head office is located, to manage the build of a $100M lubricants blending facility, which is still believed to be the most modern plant in Europe. David then took on the challenges of Global Supply & Technology where he has spent the last 8yrs.

Dr. Paul Kerwin
Base Oils Account Director, Base Oils Account Director

Dr Paul Kerwin CChem FRSC is Base Oils Director for Multisol the lubricants business unit of Brenntag SE, the world’s largest chemical and lubricant materials distributor. Key partners include Chevron, Novvi, Chevron Phillips, Peter Greven GmbH, Infineum and Evonik. Paul has a PhD in catalysis in collaboration with BASF and worked as a research scientist with Ciba (now BASF) before moving into European sales in the lubricant additives division. He has worked as European business manager with Lubrizol automotive and Sales Director for SK Europe before joining Brenntag SE. Paul has over 30 years experience in the oil and chemical industry.

Mario Majic
Head of Strategic Business Development, AVISTA OIL AG

Mario is responsible for the development of the corporate communication programme including all marketing activities, e.g. successful rebranding of the companies brands and introducing a new brand to the market. Mario is also responsible for maintenance and development of all corporate governance issues including risk and compliance management, being in charge of all strategic and commercial projects that encompass M&A activities, JV possibilities, sustainability management, and more.

Michelle Haslam
Global Marketing Director, Lubrizol Additives

Michelle is the Global Marketing Director for Lubrizol Additives, a division of the Lubrizol Corporation. Michelle has global responsibility for all marketing communications activities and accountable for leading the regional teams to strengthen the Lubrizol brand, promote products and capabilities, advance customer experience and deliver compelling communications that engage stakeholders. Michelle is a Chartered Marketer with over 18 years’ experience in marketing, PR and sales plus 4 years of experience working in international trade.
