Enterprise Products Partners shut operations at its south plant at is Mont Belvieu, Texas, complex yesterday because of inclement weather caused by Hurricane Harvey.
To ensure combustion of all hydrocarbons, the flare at the south plant facility was maintained from early yesterday morning until this morning, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Propylene and propane were among the contaminants released during the event.
