Asia PX producers make offers for December ACP

Asia Contract Price (ACP) linked paraxylene (PX) producers have tabled their offers for the December benchmark price.

South Korea's SK Global Chemical and S-Oil submitted offers at $880/t cfr, while Japan's JXTG Nippon & Energy offered at $900/t cfr. Japanese firm Idemitsu Kosan and ExxonMobil each offered at $920/t cfr.

Negotiations for the December ACP are due to be finalised tomorrow.

There were no major settlements for the ACP in October and November, after the September PX ACP settled at $780/t cfr. Earlier this year, there were major settlements in February and March at $1,050/t cfr and $1,080/t cfr respectively.
