Taiwanese state-owned cracker operator CPC has restarted its larger No.6 cracker in Linyuan this week following a planned turnaround.
The cracker, which can produce 720,000 t/yr of ethylene, resumed production on 13 April following the shutdown that lasted about two months. It is now operating at 90pc after the restart.
CPC is continuing to operate its smaller 385,000 t/yr ethylene cracker in Linyuan at its full operating rate.
