Flint Hills Resources reported an upset at a light olefins unit at its Port Arthur, Texas plant following an unexpected power failure to the unit 8 November, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The event forced the company to flare ethylene, benzene, toluene, propane, propylene, butane, isobutane, and xylenes, among other materials.
