The US International Trade Commission is launching a preliminary anti-dumping investigation on imports of steel propane cylinders from China, Taiwan and Thailand.

A preliminary determination on the investigation, which will try to determine whether the cylinders are sold at less than fair market value and subsidized by the Chinese government, is due 6 July.

Ohio-based Worthington Industries and Tennessee-based Manchester Tank & Equipment petitioned for the investigation.
