OQ Methanol restarts after outage: Correction

Oman-based producer OQ Methanol restarted its plant on 3 July after an unplanned shutdown that lasted for about a week.

The Salalah-based plant, previously known as Salalah Methanol, was taken off line around 27-28 June because of minor technical issues. The plant is expected to recover its production rates over the coming weekend.

OQ Methanol is part of the recently formed OQ group and also includes its trading arm previously known as Oman Trading International.
