Precision Castparts (PCC) will establish a titanium melt facility in Ravenswood, West Virginia.

The site is located at a former Century Aluminum property and will use 100pc renewable energy provided by BHE Renewables.

The plant will fall under PCC's Metals division, which is the product group where TIMET, Special Metals, and PCC Energy Group are situated.

West Virginia's Economic Development Authority agreed to purchase over 2,000 acres of land for the project site, it also approved a "high-impact economic development project designation for TIMET," which gives the site favorable power rates and other benefits.

The facility is slated to produce titanium products for the aerospace industry.
