Steelmaker Nucor is keeping its plate prices flat, just weeks after announcing lower pricing.

The company announced it would keep its discrete plate ex-works prices at $1,620/short ton (st) and open its books for November. Nucor is also keeping its cut-to-length pricing flat.

Nucor last announced price changes on 19 September, when it dropped discrete plate, cut-to-length, and normalized plate pricing by $120/st.

Quench and tempered plate prices fell $80/st in that announcement.
