Rodrigo is an electrical engineer who graduated from the Federal University in Brasilia. Rodrigo has an MBA in financials and computer strategy. Rodrigo has worked at CIPLAN for 24 years. Rodrigo started as a trainee engineer and summed different positions as project engineer and production manager in different areas at the cement plant. Since 2009, Rodrigo has been head of the procurement department, directly responsible for energy negotiations such as petcoke, alternative fuels and electrical energy.

Eric Battersby is the Commercial and Business Development Manager for the Port of Corpus Christi. Eric started with the Port of Corpus Christi in 2012 as the Manager of Dock Operations and advanced to Manager of the Bulk Terminal in 2014. In 2022 Eric transitioned to Commercial and Business Development Manager where he focuses on new business development and existing customer relations throughout all market segments. Prior to joining the Port of Corpus Christi, Eric enjoyed a 6-year professional baseball career in the Chicago White Sox organization followed by eight years as a stevedore superintendent loading and unloading dry bulk and general cargo vessels in Corpus Christi.

She started out at Argus covering the US coal markets. Prior to joining Argus, Lauren was the editor of an ocean technology magazine, and she had previously written for political and lifestyle publications. A native of New York, Lauren has lived in Washington, DC, since 2006.
