中国海关总署发布公告，自5月27日起允许进口符合相关要求的巴西玉米酒糟粕（DDGS）。DDGS是以玉米等谷物为原料，发酵制取乙醇过程中的副产品。为减少对进口油籽的依赖，我国提出饲用豆粕减量替代行动方案。DDGS由于蛋白含量较高，且具有对畜禽生长有益的发酵后产物，日益受到饲料企业关注。巴西DDGS无疑为中国企业打开了新的大门。
美国曾是中国DDGS的主要供应国，而随着反倾销、反补贴调查和额外进口税的实行，美国产品已难以进入中国市场。巴西由于玉米不断刷新产量记录，以及其国内对燃料乙醇日益增长的需求，作为乙醇副产品的DDGS出口能力大幅提高。
