Sri Lanka's agriculture ministry is seeking to buy through a tender 30,000t of urea, 15,000t of TSP and 3,000t of MOP.
The government received seven offers for urea, ranging from $292.38-317.78/t cfr including credit for 180 days. The lowest offer was from Asian trading firm Agrifert Liven.
Offers were as below:
- Agrifert Liven offered 30,000t of Kuwaiti/Indonesian urea at $292.38/t cfr with 180 days' credit and $295.38/t cfr with 270 days' credit. The product is being offered for August delivery
- Swiss Singapore offered 30,000t of Saudi Arabian urea at $298.20/t cfr with 180 days' credit and $300.26/t cfr with 270 days' credit
- Agri-Commodities/ETG offered 30,000t of urea from the UAE at $299.90/t cfr with 180 days' credit and $303/t cfr with 270 days' credit
- Aries Fertilizers offered 30,000t of Indonesian urea at $299.97/t cfr with 180 days' credit and $305.79/t cfr with 270 days' credit
- Valency offered 30,000t of urea from Indonesia/Egypt/UAE at $304.24/t cfr with 180 days' credit and $306.98/t cfr with 270 days' credit
- Ameropa offered 30,000t of Middle East urea at $317.78/t cfr with 180 days' credit and $321.48/t cfr with 270 days' credit
