The gas pipeline operator added three companies to its client portfolio — Brazilian independent 3R Petroleum, Ceara state distributor Cegas and Acelen's Mataripe refinery.

TAG also firmed contracts with Brazil's state-controlled Petrobras, state distributor Bahiagas, Brazilian independents PetroReconcavo and Origem Energia, fertilizer producer Proquiel and majors Galp, Shell and Equinor. The pipeline operator had previous deals with all eight companies.

The contracts began on 1 January and include deals on firm and extraordinary basis for entry and exit volumes in yearly, quarterly or monthly periods.

The new deals allowed TAG to allocate 6.6mn m³ of entry capacity and 7.1mn m³ of exit capacity.
