European utility RWE has pushed back the commercial start up of its 777MW Eemshaven A coal-fired plant in the Netherlands by over three months.
The unit had previously been expected to come on line at the end of January, but has now been delayed until 1 May this year, just five days before its sister unit B is scheduled to be commissioned.
Meanwhile, German utility Eon has said that its new Maasvlakte 3 coal-fired unit will "recommence commissioning" on 26 February.
