General Electric (GE) will provide Brazilian energy company Eneva with a second natural gas turbine.

Eneva is expanding its Azulao II power plant in northern Amazonas state. The new turbine will add 590MW to the plant, which is expected to be operational in 2027.

The Azulao II plant will use natural gas and vapor turbines to generate electricity.

Eneva is Brazil's largest natural gas operator. It ordered a gas turbine from GE to build the Azulao I power plant in October. The company expects the unit to be operational by 2026.
