Poland's Grupa Azoty Polyolefins has appointed Ter Hell Plastic as exclusive seller of polypropylene PP from its newly started PP/PDH plant in several European markets.
Ter Hell Plastic was appointed to sell PP branded Gryfilen from its 429,000 t/yr plant in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) and central and eastern European markets — Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria. Earlier this year Ter Hell Plastic was appointed as seller of Azoty's PP in the Nordic markets including Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Other sellers of Azoty's PP in Europe include Nexeo Plastic Europe in France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, Biesterfeld Plastic in the UK and Ireland, and Imlitex Industry in the Baltic States and Ukraine.
Azoty's own subsidiary Grupa Azoty Compounding will sell PP in the Polish market.
Azoty started production at its PP plant in Police near Szczecin in late June and plans to ramp up to start commercial PP sales in August, it said.
