Mikkel Seidelin
CCO, Teekay Tankers Ltd.

Mikkel Seidelin was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of Teekay Tankers Ltd. in August 2024, having previously served as its Head of Chartering & Commercial Operations since 2023. He joined Teekay in 2003 and has worked in various locations across the globe in commercial functions, including as Pool Manager for Taurus Tankers (LR2) and as Chartering Director for Teekay Tankers Ltd.’s Suezmax business. Mr. Seidelin holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD.

Toril Bosoni
Head of Oil Industry and Markets Division, IEA

Ms Toril Bosoni is the Head of the Oil Markets Division at the Paris-based International Energy Agency, and has been tracking international oil market developments for the IEA for over two decades. She is the editor of the agency’s flagship Oil Market Report and Medium Term Oil Market She is also a regular contributor to the IEA’s World Energy Outlook and World Energy Investments and plays a lead role in the agency’s essential work on energy security. Ms Bosoni obtained her BA in International Economics & Business Administration at the American University of Paris (AUP), and has undertaken extensive training in econometrics and energy economics. Toril is originally from Stavanger, Norway

Saad Rahim
Chief Economist, Trafigura

Saad Rahim is Chief Economist at Trafigura, one of the world’s largest traders of oil, metals and other commodities. He is responsible for the company’s views on markets and macroeconomics, including the outlook for crude oil, oil products and metals markets, commodity prices, equity and credit markets, and political risk. Prior to joining Trafigura, Saad was Chief Economist at BG Group (now Shell), a major integrated oil and gas company, and prior to that Deputy Chief Economist at Chevron. Before joining Chevron, Saad was an international energy adviser with PFC Energy (now IHSMarkit). Saad received BA degrees in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, and attended the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) for advanced degree work in Economics and Global Energy.

Svein Moxnes Harfjeld
CEO & President, DHT Holdings

Mr. Harfjeld joined DHT on September 1, 2010. Mr. Harfjeld has more than 30 years of experience in the shipping industry. Prior to joining DHT, he was with the BW Group, where he held senior management positions including Group Executive Director, CEO of BW Offshore, Director of Bergesen dy and Director of World-Wide Shipping. Previously he held senior management positions at Andhika Maritime, Coeclerici and Mitsui O.S.K. He started his shipping career with The Torvald Klaveness Group. Mr. Harfjeld is a citizen of Norway.

Sh. Khaled Al-Sabah
Managing Director, Kuwait Petroleum Company / Kuwait Oil Tanker Co.

Shk. Khaled Ahmad M. Al-Sabah, is a highly accomplished senior executive with over three decades of experience in the international commercial oil trade and sales industry, currently serving as the Managing Director of International Marketing at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC)., and Acting CEO of Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC). He brings a vast wealth of knowledge and strategic insight into his leadership roles. He was appointed Chairman of KPC Trading Ltd. in August 2024.
Shk. Al-Sabah began his career at KPC in the Crude Oil Sales Department as a Sales Representative. Over the years, he advanced through various roles within the International Marketing division, including positions in Crude, Marine, and the London Office, where he served as Assistant Manager.
In August 2009, he was promoted to Manager of the Bunker Sales Department, where he successfully implemented strategic sales initiatives. His strong performance led to his appointment as Manager of Naphtha/Mogas/LPG Sales in September 2013. He also chaired the LNG Negotiations Committee, highlighting his diverse expertise and leadership abilities.
Recognized for his dedication and impactful contributions, Shk. Al-Sabah was promoted to Manager of Planning and Marketing in August 2017, shortly thereafter, in October 2017, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director – International Marketing Sales. In this capacity, he led all key sales departments, including Crude Oil Sales, Naphtha/Mogas/LPG Sales, Middle Distillates, Fuel Oil and Special Products, Bunkers, and LNG.
His leadership responsibilities extend globally, overseeing KPC’s regional offices in London, Singapore, Japan, and China. His strategic oversight has played a crucial role in fostering beneficial partnerships and securing profitable contracts, contributing to KPC’s global expansion and sustained success.
Shk. Khaled Al-Sabah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA. His robust academic foundation coupled with extensive industry experience firmly establishes him as a respected and influential figure in the international oil trade and marketing sector.

David Fyfe
Chief Economist, Argus

David has more than 30 years’ experience of working in energy markets. Prior to joining Argus, David was most recently chief economist at commodity trading company Gunvor. Before this, he managed the oil industry and markets division of the International Energy Agency and edited its influential monthly Oil Market Report. David has a master’s degree in energy policy and economics from Imperial College London.

James Gooder
Vice-President, Crude, Argus

James is responsible for business development in southern Europe and Africa. James has been with the company since 2004 performing several editorial roles, including editing European electricity and emissions market publications. From 2007-10, he was the editor of the daily Argus Crude report, managing a global team of reporters and developing new crude price assessments. Prior to joining Argus, James worked as a teacher, speechwriter and journalist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American literature from Manchester University and a master’s degree in international journalism from City University, London.

Tom Reed
Vice-President, China Crude and Products, Argus

Tom Reed joined Argus from UK broadcaster the BBC in 2003. He worked on Argus’ corporate and European products desks before moving to head Argus’ Asian market analysis of oil and generation fuels. As Vice-president of China crude and products he oversees Argus’ China oil pricing and analysis service.

Alex Younevitch
Vice-President, Freight, Argus

Alex Younevitch is Vice-President, Freight at Argus Media, leading strategy and business development across the company’s global freight portfolio. Since joining Argus in February 2020, Alex has driven growth and innovation in tanker, dry bulk, gas, and specialised freight services. Previously, he headed EMEA shipping at S&P Global Commodity Insights, where he oversaw three flagship publications and was instrumental in rapidly expanding Platts’ freight offering across tankers, dry bulk, and container markets. Alex began his career as a tanker broker at Gibson Shipbrokers and holds a First-Class BA Honours degree in International Supply Chain and Shipping Management from the University of Plymouth.

Benedict George
Editor - Oil Products, Argus

Benedict George is the deputy editor of the Argus European Products report. He began by assessing diesel prices when he joined Argus in 2019 and has since spread his coverage across the European products, during the disruption of the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He leads Argus’ coverage of the European refining industry in particular.

He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has lectured at prominent universities around the world. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Oklahoma.
