SLTA
The Shanghai Lubricants Industry Association (SLTA) was established in June 2005 and is the first provincial-level lubricant industry association in China. It brings together enterprises and institutions engaged in the production, research and development, quality inspection, sales, service, and lubricant additive production of lubricants and greases. It is a non-profit, voluntary industry based social organization. The purpose upheld by industry associations is to "serve enterprises, regulate industries, and develop industries".

The association currently has nearly 150 member units and three branch offices: Additive Professional Committee, Metal Processing Fluid Professional Committee, and Automotive Chemicals Professional Committee. It has established 11 training and experimental bases and 7 third-party testing bases.
