Esteban Ciarlo is the technical coordinator for the “Fertilizer” Civil Association and an adjunct professor of soil science in the agronomy department at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He became president of the Council of the Natural Resources Research Center at the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) in 2024, where he was previously a member. Ciarlo holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the university's Faculty of Agronomy.
