Virginia-based wholesale roofing and waterproofing distributor Beacon has agreed to acquire Chicago Metal Supply.
The deal on 10 September makes Beacon's 10th acquisition so far this year. The acquisitions expanded its footprint by 36 branches across the US and Canada.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Beacon has also opened 12 new locations since the start of the year, for a total of 48 new locations added year to date.
Chicago Metal Supply specializes in custom architectural sheet metal fabrication.
