Houston, 30 October (Argus) — Kinder Morgan's jet fuel pipeline running from Newington, Virginia, to Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, is down today due to a power failure, according to a situation report issued this morning at 10am ET by the US Department of Energy (DOE).
The Newington fuel distribution terminal in northern Virginia also supplies the nearby Dulles International Airport, which services the greater Washington, DC, metro area. This morning's update did not detail whether jet fuel shipments to that facility were impacted by the outage.
