Oliver Hatfield is the VP of Fertilizers for Argus Media in London. Oliver joined Argus in October 2018 following its acquisition of Integer Research, where he was head of the fertilizer market research team and one of the company’s founders. He has more than 20 years of experience in business analysis and consulting.

Oliver is currently leading business development across Argus’ global nitrogen, phosphates and potash businesses, and driving the development of the company’s business in clean ammonia and specialty fertilizers. He is a regular speaker at industry events and is a graduate of economics and development economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.

Gabriel Rozenberg

CEO & Co-Founder, CBAMBOO

Gabriel Rozenberg has spent his career at the intersection of climate, public policy, and finance. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of CBAMBOO, the operating system for the world’s carbon border taxes. CBAMBOO helps global firms navigate the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, generating emissions data and mapping their tax exposure. Gabriel began his career at The Times as Economics Reporter, later working as an analyst and investment director at two hedge funds. He was also active in London politics before launching CBAMBOO in 2023.

Georgi Borisov

Georgi Borisov is the Commercial Director of Agropolychim, one of Southeast Europe’s leading fertilizer producers. He has played a key role in developing the company's commercial strategy, international market presence and long-term business partnerships during his more than 14yr there. His expertise is in fertilizer markets, international trade, supply chains and the business environment for agricultural inputs. He has also been involved in projects to improve operational efficiency, support business growth and strengthen the fertilizer industry's competitiveness. Georgi also serves as Executive Director of Aliphos, Chief Operating Officer of AFER Bulgaria, Administrator of AFER Fertilizers Romania and a member of the Board of Directors of Ecofol.

Jan-Joost den Brinker

Jan-Joost den Brinker is Vice President of the Board of the International Association for CBAM, where he contributes to the practical development and implementation of the EU and UK Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanisms across industry and international supply chains.
He is also CTO of Dubrink, a leading CBAM compliance platform, and brings more than a decade of experience in consulting and digital transformation, including roles at Accenture and Cognizant. His work focuses on the intersection of CBAM policy, technology, data, and operational implementation.
Jan-Joost is particularly focused on translating complex regulatory requirements into workable processes for importers, manufacturers, suppliers, and technology providers, and on advancing practical, scalable approaches to CBAM compliance across the global supply chain.

Agronomist and political scientist by training, he has worked for more than 30 years in several European Commission DGs, focusing mostly on agricultural markets mostly.

Petr Cingr

Petr Cingr has many years of experience in managing industrial corporations and began his career in 1991 at Kaučuk, a.s., which he left as CEO in 2002 to assume the position of CEO at Chemopetrol, a.s., the largest petrochemical company in the Czech Republic. Since 2007, Petr Cingr has been Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at AGROFERT, a.s. At the AGROFERT Group, he was in charge of restructuring the meat sector in agricultural businesses, compound feed plants and food and chemical companies in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Petr Cingr was managing director of Kostelecké uzeniny, the largest meat processing company in the Czech Republic and managing director of Lieken, second largest bakery in Germany. Since 2011, he has been the director of the fertilizer and fuel division of the AGROFERT Group which after the acquisition of Borealis Nitro division become second largest European fertilizers and TEN producer which includes SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz, Duslo, Lovochemie, LAT Nitrogen, GreenChem and AGF Ammonia holding.

Marina Simonova

Marina has more than 20 years' experience in the fertilizer industry, specialising in the ammonia value chain, including low-carbon ammonia. She leads Argus’ subscription analytics team across all fertilizer nutrients, focusing on short and long-term forecasting. Marina has developed a unique, in-depth understanding of the global fertilizer and ammonia markets, from leading producers to consulting companies. She also has a senior leadership role at global association IFA. 

Tim Cheyne

SVP - Global Head of Agriculture, Fertilizers, Ammonia, DEF, Argus

Tim is Senior Vice President for the fertilizer sector at Argus. Tim worked a process manager at an ammonia/urea plant in South Africa before moving to the UK to join KBR (then M.W. Kellogg) as a process engineer in the ammonia technology team. More recently Tim has covered fertilizer and industrial nitrogen as a market analyst.

Pavel Hanus

Pavel Hanus is a member of the Board of Directors of Agrofert, and member of the Board of Directors of AGF Nitrogen where he holds responsibility for fertilizer and technical nitrogen sales. He has more than 20 years of international experience in the fertilizers, chemicals, logistics and distribution sectors, including senior leadership positions at various Agrofert companies including Duslo, LAT Nitrogen and GreenChem Holding.

Derek Langston was appointed Global Head of Dry Research at Braemar, one of the largest shipbrokers in the world, in April 2023, leading an international team of analysts.
Previously, Derek was Head of Research at shipbroker SSY from 2019 to 2023 as part of a 19-year career at the company.
Derek has been engaged in shipping research and consultancy work by a diverse client base, including shipowners, operators, trading houses, utilities, mining companies, agricultural producers, government departments, banks and investment funds. He has spoken at a wide variety of conferences and industry events around the world.

Dr Daniel Garcia-Seco

R&D & Laboratory Director , AFEPASA

Daniel García-Seco is R&D Director at AFEPASA, leading the company’s innovation strategy, laboratory facilities and technical team with a strong focus on biostimulants, biopesticides, microbial technologies and crop protection. He has more than 16yr of experience in agronomy, agrobiotechnology, formulation and plant–microbe interactions, and combines industrial R&D leadership with an international scientific background. He held R&D roles at Legume Technology in the UK and the Trichodex–Fertiberia Group and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at IRD in Montpellier, France, before joining AFEPASA. Daniel holds a PhD in Rhizosphere Biotechnology from Universidad San Pablo CEU, an Agronomist Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and has carried out research at the John Innes Centre. He has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications and patents on plant growth promotion and agricultural biotechnology.

Amine Debbarh serves as Sales Director – Western Europe at OCP Nutricrops, where he leads the company’s commercial strategy and business development across the region. He oversees strategic customer relationships and market development initiatives, driving growth and fostering long-term partnerships.
With more than 18 years of experience in business development, strategy, transformation, industrial development, and innovation, he brings extensive leadership experience in shaping growth strategies, building strategic partnerships, and driving large-scale business and transformation initiatives across international markets. Throughout his career at OCP, he has held several leadership positions spanning corporate development and transformation, as well as the development of OCP’s activities in Africa.
Prior to joining OCP, he worked in renewable energy investment and management consulting in Morocco and France.

Katharina Geiger has worked for four years at the German Farmers’ Association (Deutscher Bauernverband), which represents the interests of German agriculture and forestry to policymakers, society and the economy. In her role, she is responsible for all topics related to arable farming. Her work covers farming issues and the analysis of agricultural policy and market developments, particularly in the fertiliser sector.
A key focus of her work is advocacy at the European level, where she contributes the perspectives of German arable farming to technical and political discussions within Copa-Cogeca, the umbrella organisation for European farmers and agri-co-operatives. She helps develop practical solutions and promotes competitive framework conditions for agriculture by linking practice, markets and policy.

Nicolas Willaume is President of the European Consortium of the Organic-Based Fertilizer Industry (ECOFI), which brings together producers to advance the role of organic-based fertilizers in European agriculture. As Global Advocacy Manager at ICL Group – Growing Solutions, he draws on over 20 years of experience in agriculture and plant nutrition, spanning product development, international marketing, regulatory affairs and global advocacy. Through ECOFI, he champions the contribution of circular and organic-based fertilizers to a more efficient, sustainable and resilient fertilizer sector, focusing on unlocking innovation, scale up adoption, deliver value for farmers and create a policy framework that supports investment in nutrient circularity.

Jack Gomersall

Jack Gomersall works to support the implementation of climate and energy policy that drives real progress in decarbonising European industry. As Senior Manager of Industrial Innovation Europe at the Clean Air Task Force, he focuses on how smart regulation and effective policy design can accelerate emissions reductions across hard-to-abate sectors.
Before joining CATF he worked on carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and carbon dioxide removal projects including CCS-equipped natural gas reformation and electrolytic hydrogen production, giving him a grounded understanding of the practical and commercial realities facing first-of-a-kind decarbonisation investments.
He now brings that project experience to bear on the European policy landscape, working across the regulatory frameworks that determine how industrial decarbonisation technologies get deployed at scale.

Philip Damas

Philip Damas is in charge of Drewry Supply Chain Advisors, the logistics practice of the Drewry group, and is a managing director of Drewry Shipping Consultants. Prior to joining Drewry in 2005, Philip worked for CMA CGM and the container shipping consortium Cobra in various management and financial control roles until 1990. He then spent the 1990s analysing the logistics policies of exporters/importers and of logistics service providers when working with American Shipper and Containerisation International. Philip then became a founding director of the shipping research and database company ComPairData. At Drewry, Philip has advised exporters, importers, lenders and ports on logistics, freight rates, seafreight, procurement, supply chains and markets. He has presented papers at conferences in Asia, the United States and Europe. Philip holds an MBA from the University of Bradford Management Centre and a B. Sc. and M.Sc. Finance from the University of Strasbourg.

Navya Kumar is a Researcher at the Erasmus Commodity & Trade Centre (ECTC), Erasmus University Rotterdam, where she conducts applied research on commodity trade, supply-chain resilience, and the energy transition. Her work on low-emission ammonia examines the institutional, market, and policy conditions shaping the development of this emerging market, using scenario analysis to assess pathways for adoption and demand and their implications for energy and food security in an increasingly disrupted world. She works closely with agri-food stakeholders, including companies, industry associations, government bodies, and NGOs, translating research insights into practical guidance for the sector’s transition. She holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree, with a focus on global markets and local competitiveness, jointly delivered by the University of Glasgow, University of Barcelona, and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
