The marketplace for clean marine fuels - connect with marine stakeholders and unlocofftakdeals

The Argus Green Marine Fuels Europe Conference brought together senior leaders from across shipping, fuels, policy and finance to examine the regulatory, commercial and technical realities shaping the maritime fuel transition.

Over two days, attendees gained actionable insight into regulatory change, compliance strategies and fuel economics, with perspectives from the European Commission, IMO experts, major shipowners, ports and Argus analysts. Discussions focused on the impacts of Fit for 55, FuelEU Maritime, EU ETS and new IMO measures on marine fuel choices and investment decisions.

An exclusive workshop explored the commercial and technical viability of biofuels, e‑methanol, ammonia, LNG, hydrogen and synthetic fuels. Sessions examined lifecycle emissions, certification, infrastructure readiness and carbon pricing, alongside how public and private funding, including the EU Innovation Fund, can support scalable green shipping strategies.

More than 200 senior stakeholders from shipowners, fuel producers, ports, regulators, technology providers and financiers took part, making the conference a key forum for collaboration, deal‑making and strategy alignment across Europe’s clean marine fuels market.
