Misr Phosphate Co. is an Egyptian Phosphate Rock producer founded in - October 2009, following the acquisition of international standards our production capacity is 5 million MT yearly.
Misr Phosphate Co. phosphate facilities are located at Abu Tartour, El Sebaia and Red Sea Mines, we became the largest Egyptian phosphate producer able to offer several Phosphate Ore grades with different specifications which enables us to serve all international markets, with total sales during 2024 around 3500000 Mt (exported 2500000 Mt and local market sales 1000000 Mt).
Abu Tartour phosphate mine represents one of the largest phosphate mines in the world, with estimated reserves of 1 Billion tons of ore reserves different grades up to 31% P2O5.
Indonesia is one of the potential markets of importing phosphate rock, most of its imports of phosphate rock is from Egypt.
Misr Phosphate Company is considered the largest Egyptian Company that exports the Egyptian phosphate rock to Indonesian market in both packed and bulks with total exports of 1,154,400 MT during 2024 from its Abu Tartour Mines with different grades.)
