Houston, Port Neches reopen with restrictions

Houston pilots resumed boarding of LPG vessels into the Houston Ship Channel today, with draft restrictions following Hurricane Harvey.

Enterprise Products Partners said it resumed loadings of LPG and propylene from its terminal on the Houston Ship Channel. As of this morning the Houston pilots' association restricted movements to a draft of no more than 38ft to the Enterprise terminal and to 32ft to the Targa facility further inland.

The Freeport, Texas, port is open, but it is unclear whether the LPG export terminal operated by Phillips 66 has resumed operations.

The Sabine River pilots' association, which operates in Port Neches, Texas, home to the Energy Transfer LPG export terminal in Nederland, reported 30ft draft restrictions this morning, with air draft restrictions of 133ft.
