Brazil's mines and energy ministry published a schedule for power and power transmission auction for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
The auction list was published today in the federal gazette. The government set eight power tenders for 2022 to supply the country in four, five, six, one and two years. The first tender, to supply power in 2026, is scheduled for May. Among the eight auctions there will also be a thermoelectric tender associated with the Eletrobras sale and a capacity tender, in the same mold as this month's.
There are also two transmission auctions scheduled for the year, with a projection of R11bn in investments.
