Marathon Petroleum said its 596,000 Garyville, Louisiana, refinery has resumed normal operations after a 25 August naphtha tank fire curtailed throughputs.
The refinery has "resumed normal operations and is running at planned rates," a Marathon spokesperson told Argus at 5:08pm ET today.
Marathon shut units at the refinery — one of the largest in the US — following the fire which damaged two naphtha storage tanks. The facility operated at reduced throughputs this week.
