The 2024-25 winter corn harvest in Brazil's central-western Mato Grosso state advanced by almost 7 percentage points in the week but is still lagging the prior year's pace.

Harvesting activities for the week are 23.5 percentage points below the 37.6pc harvested at the same time a year ago for the previous cycle and below the five-year-average for the period of 26.8pc.
