Oliver Hatfield
VP Fertilizers, Argus

Oliver Hatfield is the VP of Fertilizers for Argus Media in London. Oliver joined Argus in October 2018 following its acquisition of Integer Research, where he was head of the fertilizer market research team and one of the company’s founders. He has more than 20 years of experience in business analysis and consulting.

Oliver is currently leading business development across Argus’ global nitrogen, phosphates and potash businesses, and driving the development of the company’s business in clean ammonia and specialty fertilizers. He is a regular speaker at industry events and is a graduate of economics and development economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.

Gabriel Rozenberg
CEO & Co-Founder, CBAMBOO

Gabriel Rozenberg has spent his career at the intersection of climate, public policy, and finance. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of CBAMBOO, the operating system for the world’s carbon border taxes. CBAMBOO helps global firms navigate the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, generating emissions data and mapping their tax exposure. Gabriel began his career at The Times as Economics Reporter, later working as an analyst and investment director at two hedge funds. He was also active in London politics before launching CBAMBOO in 2023.

Marina Simonova
Principal - Consulting, Fertilizer & Clean Ammonia Analytics, Argus

Marina has more than 20 years' experience in the fertilizer industry, specialising in the ammonia value chain, including low-carbon ammonia. She leads Argus’ subscription analytics team across all fertilizer nutrients, focusing on short and long-term forecasting. Marina has developed a unique, in-depth understanding of the global fertilizer and ammonia markets, from leading producers to consulting companies. She also has a senior leadership role at global association IFA. 

Tim Cheyne
SVP - Global Head of Agriculture, Fertilizers, Ammonia, DEF, Argus

Tim is Senior Vice President for the fertilizer sector at Argus. Tim worked a process manager at an ammonia/urea plant in South Africa before moving to the UK to join KBR (then M.W. Kellogg) as a process engineer in the ammonia technology team. More recently Tim has covered fertilizer and industrial nitrogen as a market analyst.

Milton Sato
Head of Global Market Intelligence, FertiStream

Milton Sato is the Dubai-based head of the FertiStream Global Market Intelligence Team. He leads the development of market outlooks to support trading decisions across the nitrogen, phosphates and potash complex. Milton has held regional and global roles in the US, Singapore, Brazil and the UAE. He holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Business from Universidade de São Paulo.

Dr Daniel Garcia-Seco
R&D & Laboratory Director , AFEPASA

Daniel García-Seco is R&D Director at AFEPASA, leading the company’s innovation strategy, laboratory facilities and technical team with a strong focus on biostimulants, biopesticides, microbial technologies and crop protection. He has more than 16yr of experience in agronomy, agrobiotechnology, formulation and plant–microbe interactions, and combines industrial R&D leadership with an international scientific background. He held R&D roles at Legume Technology in the UK and the Trichodex–Fertiberia Group and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at IRD in Montpellier, France, before joining AFEPASA. Daniel holds a PhD in Rhizosphere Biotechnology from Universidad San Pablo CEU, an Agronomist Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and has carried out research at the John Innes Centre. He has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications and patents on plant growth promotion and agricultural biotechnology.

Katharina Geiger
Head of Unit Arable Farming, German Farmers Association

Katharina Geiger has worked for four years at the German Farmers’ Association (Deutscher Bauernverband), which represents the interests of German agriculture and forestry to policymakers, society and the economy. In her role, she is responsible for all topics related to arable farming. Her work covers farming issues and the analysis of agricultural policy and market developments, particularly in the fertiliser sector.
A key focus of her work is advocacy at the European level, where she contributes the perspectives of German arable farming to technical and political discussions within Copa-Cogeca, the umbrella organisation for European farmers and agri-co-operatives. She helps develop practical solutions and promotes competitive framework conditions for agriculture by linking practice, markets and policy.
