Throughout almost 30 years of experience with fertilizing products and fertilizer industry, Dr Mannheim has always been engaged in promoting innovations making fertilizers more effective. Since 2014, Thomas headed the R&D department of EuroChem.

Antonis is a holder of a M.Sc. Degree in Agricultural Science with specialization in Soil Science and has over 19 years’ experience in the agriculture working in various technical and commercial positions in crop nutrition, biologicals & plant protection industry. Currently he holds the position of Director for Biostimulants in Yara International and he is the Co-Chair of EBIC’s Mid-Term Strategy Steering Committee.

Daniel Hannes

Daniel is the Lead Originator Gas Supply and Low-carbon Commodities at Uniper Global Commodities. Uniper is a multinational utility company and a leading gas supplier in Europe. Uniper targets to ensure secure and continuous gas flows with a diversified and greener portfolio and to support their customers’ decarbonization efforts with bespoke solutions. Daniel is responsible to originate not only new alternative gas supply sources, but also low-carbon gas, hydrogen and ammonia supply contracts to support the ongoing decarbonization of the portfolio and create tailor-made supply solutions for the existing customer base as well as for new market segments.

Dietrich Hoffmann

Head of Gas Origination, RWE Supply & Trading

Dietrich started his career in the gas industry at Wingas in 1997, working in the Gas Purchase Department and subsequently as of 1999 in the newly set up Trading team. Joining RWE Trading GmbH in early 2002, he focused on Gas Trading in both liquid and illiquid markets. This also comprised the booking of transport and storage capacities across all European markets. In 2013 he took over the responsibility for the Gas Origination Team covering Continental Europe, covering the liquid as well as semi-liquid and illiquid markets. The current key area of his work is the development of Gas Trading in Southern and Central Eastern European countries.

Dr. Maen Nsour

CEO, Arab Potash Company

Dr. Maen F. Nsour is President and CEO of the Arab Potash Company (APC) since April 23, 2019. Before his current position he was Senior Advisor for Business Development and Strategies at APC since September 2017. Dr. Nsour was Chief-of-Staff and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Jordan. He was also a member of the Economic and Financial Ministerial Committee. In his capacity as Chief-of-Staff and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Nsour served as the principal adviser to the Prime Minister, offering strategic and tactical advice to the Prime Minister on policy matters and on the implementation of the government's strategic plans and programs. Dr. Nsour was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Jordan Investment Board (JIB). JIB is the government agency responsible for attracting investments, supporting exports, and creating an investment-conducive economic environment. Dr. Nsour was Senior Regional Programs Adviser at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in New York. He was also Director of Policy Planning and Economic Studies at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan.

Nikolay Gorbachov

Peter Prentice

He has an extensive background in developing resource projects internationally, as well as project finance and marketing. Peter has read in Mathematics and Engineering Science. Bart started his professional career as a project engineer at Pirelli. Later he moved into commercial roles, initially with Dow Chemicals and in 1997 with Owens Corning. Later, Bart joined Yara in 2001 until 2022 in various international leadership roles. Currently he is head of commercial strategy at OCI Global. He was president of the Italian fertilizer producer’s association Assofertilizzanti and executive committee member of the American TFI. He is member of the advisory board of his faculty at the Politecnico di Milano and past acting president of Fertilizers Europe

Laura Cross is Director of Market Intelligence at IFA, and oversees the activities of the Market Intelligence Service, which provides authoritative information on supply, demand and trade of fertilizers and fertilizer raw materials, and monitors developments that may impact the outlook for fertilizer markets. Ms Cross joined IFA in March 2021, and previously spent 10 years analyzing and forecasting fertilizer markets at CRU Group and Integer Research. She has an active interest in environmental protection, sustainability and ESG pressures facing the fertilizer industry, with a recent focus on emissions reduction policies and green ammonia.

Etienne Variot is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rize, a tech startup based in Paris, France. Prior to launching Rize, Etienne spent two years as a member of Entrepreneur First, a tech entrepreneurship programme based out of Station F. There, they served as an aspiring CEO and PA3. Before their time at Entrepreneur First, Etienne spent over three years working in strategy and finance for Groupe Casino, a French multinational corporation. There, they were responsible for leading group-level projects, monitoring performance, and assessing investments and divestments. Oliver Hatfield, is VP Business Development for Argus Media in London. Oliver joined Argus in October 2018 following its acquisition of Integer Research, where he spent 15 years as head of the fertilizer market research team. Oliver has more than 20 years of experience in business analysis and consulting, and he was also one of the founders of Integer. Oliver has worked extensively on multi-client and bespoke fertilizer market analysis studies, covering market forecasts, strategy, due diligence, market entry and project feasibility. He has worked as an analyst on all the key fertilizer and related chemical markets: nitrogen, phosphates, potash, sulphur and sulphuric acid. Oliver is a graduate of economics and development economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.

Franck Boher

Franck has over 15 years of experience in commodity and specialty fertilizer markets. Before joining Fibrant, he worked as Vice-President of Sales and Business Development at Akiolis, a Tessenderlo Group company, and Vice-President of Sales and Business Development for the South Nafta area at Roullier Group. In 2019, Franck took up the presidency of ASPE, the European association of ammonium sulphate producers, which was created by Fibrant, BASF, Lanxess and Domo to promote ammonium sulphate as an efficient and sustainable fertilizer.

Lawrence Templeton

Lawrence joined Argus Media’s European Natural Gas team in 2014 following an gas industry market analysis role in Berlin. Joining Argus, Lawrence specialised in German and Italian gas market and regulatory developments, working closely with Argus’ coal and electricity teams to develop cross-commodity analysis. Moving to the business development team in 2017, Lawrence now covers European natural gas, power and LNG taking in markets from Italy and the Netherlands to Ukraine and Turkey.

Tim Cheyne

Tim is Senior Vice President for the fertilizer sector at Argus. Tim worked a process manager at an ammonia/urea plant in South Africa before moving to the UK to join KBR (then M.W. Kellogg) as a process engineer in the ammonia technology team. More recently Tim has covered fertilizer and industrial nitrogen as a market analyst.
