Mike Nash is senior editor at Argus, having previously managed the London-based team of fertilizer market editors and reporters and now having special responsibility for Argus’ coverage of specialty and water-soluble fertilizers. He covered the global phosphates market with various price reporting agencies from 2004-19, while regularly covering most other commoditised fertilizer markets, and international energy and petrochemical markets, before that time. Mike is an experienced speaker who has presented papers at events such as AFA, FAI, GPCA, TSI and many Argus conferences.

Tim is Senior Vice President for the fertilizer sector at Argus. Tim worked a process manager at an ammonia/urea plant in South Africa before moving to the UK to join KBR (then M.W. Kellogg) as a process engineer in the ammonia technology team. More recently Tim has covered fertilizer and industrial nitrogen as a market analyst.

Oliver Hatfield, is VP Business Development for Argus Media in London. Oliver joined Argus in October 2018 following its acquisition of Integer Research, where he spent 15 years as head of the fertilizer market research team. Oliver has more than 20 years of experience in business analysis and consulting, and he was also one of the founders of Integer. Oliver has worked extensively on multi-client and bespoke fertilizer market analysis studies, covering market forecasts, strategy, due diligence, market entry and project feasibility. He has worked as an analyst on all the key fertilizer and related chemical markets: nitrogen, phosphates, potash, sulphur and sulphuric acid. Oliver is a graduate of economics and development economics from the University of Manchester in the UK.

Dr. Maen F. Nsour is President and CEO of the Arab Potash Company (APC) since April 23, 2019. Before his current position he was Senior Advisor for Business Development and Strategies at APC since September 2017. Dr. Nsour was Chief-of-Staff and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Jordan. He was also a member of the Economic and Financial Ministerial Committee. In his capacity as Chief-of-Staff and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Nsour served as the principal adviser to the Prime Minister, offering strategic and tactical advice to the Prime Minister on policy matters and on the implementation of the government's strategic plans and programs. Dr. Nsour was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Jordan Investment Board (JIB). JIB is the government agency responsible for attracting investments, supporting exports, and creating an investment-conducive economic environment. Dr. Nsour was Senior Regional Programs Adviser at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in New York. He was also Director of Policy Planning and Economic Studies at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan.

Dr Fotini Giannakopoulou

Fotini has been General Manager at Hellenic Fertilizer Association since 2015. She is an agronomist and holds MSc and PhD degree in Soil Science from Agricultural University of Athens (AUA). She has professional experience in both academic and private sector. Before joining the Fertilizer’ Association she worked as a Lecturer in Laboratory of Soil and Agricultural Chemistry in AUA and participated as researcher or coordinator in more than twenty research projects. In the private sector, she has also worked as R&D Manager in Nanotechnology for product development. She has more than 20 publications, in international journals and in Proceedings of International and National Congresses.

Dr. Vassilis Kotoulas joined Athenian Brewery (Heineken Greece) in 2013 as scientific coordinator of the Malting Barley Contract Farming Program, while since 2017 is the Head of the Program. He received his BSc in Agronomy from Agricultural University of Athens and his MSc (plant breeding and field crops) and PhD (plant water relations) from Agricultural University of Athens. He has been involved in numerous EU and national research projects collaborating with both Agricultural University and Benaki Phytopathological Institute. He has worked as a Trainer at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences. He is a co-author in many scientific publications in international journals.

Lawrence joined Argus Media’s European Natural Gas team in 2014 following an gas industry market analysis role in Berlin. Joining Argus, Lawrence specialised in German and Italian gas market and regulatory developments, working closely with Argus’ coal and electricity teams to develop cross-commodity analysis. Moving to the business development team in 2017, Lawrence now covers European natural gas, power and LNG taking in markets from Italy and the Netherlands to Ukraine and Turkey.

Currently he is the R&D Director in AFEPASA (Tarragona, Spain), one of the most important companies in Sulphur for agriculture. The last decades the R&D team of AFEPASA is developing new Elemental Sulphur based products, as fertilizers, new biopesticides and biostimulants.
