A major milestone in this commitment is CIMC ENRIC’s RED compliant bio methanol plant in Western Guangdong, which has been continuously producing real, ISCC EU certified green methanol since entering full scale operations in December 2025. Strategically located near Singapore and major deep sea Asian ports, the facility ensures efficient and reliable regional and international supply.
Phase 1 of the plant delivers 50,000 metric tons of certified bio methanol annually, with expansion planned to reach 250,000 metric tons by 2027. Since launch, it has supplied the maritime and fine chemical industries with high performance green methanol that enables over 85% GHG emissions reduction. Through this stable, ongoing output, CIMC ENRIC strengthens its role in supporting the global energy transition and Net Zero ambitions.
