ExxonMobil has offered its October paraxylene (PX) Asia Contract Price (ACP) at $840/t.
ExxonMobil's offer is the last from the five ACP-linked sellers, which have proposed contract prices for October at $800-850/t cfr.
The ACP is due to be settled on 30 September.
The ACP has only been settled twice this year, in February and May, despite the price being an important component in most long-term contracts in Asia-Pacific. The PX ACP failed to settle in 10 of the 12 rounds of negotiations last year.
