Atlas Pipeline Partners' Midkiff, Texas gas plant shut a broken compressor unit yesterday, resulting in flaring, according to an emissions filing.
The unit is undergoing repairs that should be completed this afternoon. A portion of the gas was diverted to a nearby plant and the rest was flared, resulting in small emissions of benzene, according to the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
