Opec has kept its global oil demand growth forecasts for 2025 and 2026 unchanged for a fifth consecutive month.

In its final Monthly Oil Market Report (MOMR) this year, Opec said global oil demand would grow by 1.30mn b/d to 105.14mn b/d in 2025, led by China, Africa and the US.

It projects demand to grow by 1.38mn b/d to 106.52mn b/d in 2026, with India, China, the Middle East and Africa leading the gains.

Opec's demand forecasts remain much higher than those of the IEA.

Opec increased its non-Opec+ supply growth forecasts for 2025 by 40,000 b/d to 960,000 b/d, but kept its growth forecasts for 2026 unchanged at 630,000 b/d. It sees US leading non-Opec+ supply growth this year at 460,000 b/d, but this growth falls sharply to 100,000 b/d in 2026.

Opec+ crude output — including Mexico — 43,000 b/d to 43.07mn b/d in November, based on an average of secondary sources including Argus. Opec estimates the call on Opec+ crude at 43mn b/d in 2026.
