Dow reported maintenance at its Freeport, Texas light hydrocarbons unit No. 7 today, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The maintenance is an effort to resolve two occurrences of fouling on at the unit. It is expected to continue through 10 June, and will result in emissions of butadiene, butene, benzene, ethylene, propylene, styrene, toluene and other materials.
