Chinese petrochemical producer Wanhua Chemical announced today it has restarted a 400,000 t/yr methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) unit at its Ningbo complex in east China's Zhejiang province.
The unit was shut on 15 November for a 50-day regular maintenance and is now operating normally, Wanhua said.
The company's another 800,000 t/yr MDI unit at NIngbo is still having its 50-day regular maintenance, having shut down on 3 December.
Wanhua announced earlier that its polymeric MDI list price for January was set at 18,000 yuan/t ($2,514/t), unchanged from the previous month, with its monomeric MDI list price also unchanged at Yn24,500/t.
