Valero's McKee refinery in Sunray, Texas, shut an aromatics tank after material spilled as it was being filled, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The spill yesterday resulted in emissions of benzene, trimethylbenzene, butene, cumene, naphtha, toluene and xylenes, among other materials.
