Market-based solutions to decarbonisation in the EU and globally
The Argus Europe Carbon Conference brought together senior stakeholders from across carbon markets, policy, finance and industry to examine the regulatory and commercial developments shaping decarbonisation across Europe and beyond.
Over two days, attendees gained practical insight into policy reform and market evolution, with a focus on the EU ETS, CBAM and the emerging Carbon Removal Certification Framework.
Discussions explored how these developments are reshaping compliance obligations and influencing carbon cost exposure across global supply chains. Sessions also addressed the role of the voluntary carbon market and the progression of Article 6.4, alongside the growing impact of CORSIA on aviation and the wider implications for hard‑to‑abate sectors including steel, cement, chemicals and shipping.
